I am going to have to pick up that book soon I have heard so much about it. I just haven't had much time to read anything lately so I haven't got around to it. But like running I probably just need to get it and as soon as I have it I am sure I won't be able to put it down. As far as blogs go I know I will be blogging about my running and VFF a lot more. My husband will also be writing to this blog and he is in to VFF too and lots of other cool stuff.

I just picked up my VFF's a few weeks ago after doing the same - sitting and reading all kinds of research articles and reviews. I wanted to make sure I was fully educated before I got into something that went against all the education I've ever received post-degree (Kinesiology & Athletic Therapy).

I'm not much of a marathoner, as I am a basketball player, but I ran a few 5km races in my lifetime so far. I like the VFF's for CrossFit-ing in, they're great for olympic weight lifting, so great. Yesterday and today was the first time I tried to run in them, I thought that I would be a bit conditioned. I only ran 1KM just to get the feel of them, and wow.

Every day I love them more and more, and it's amazing to be so in tune with your body.

I have been searching for blogs people are writing about them and I came across yours through twitter, and I'm enjoying reading other's experiences with them! If you haven't read Christopher McDougall's book "Born To Run," you really should. I can't put it down, and it's all about barefoot running and why his feet initially hurt. They mention VFF's quite a bit, so it's a good overlay!

Thanks for the great read!
