Another underwhelming blog....

Since the day we moved in we have wanted a bigger patio space. Or outdoor living space as it would be called on HGTV.  A few weeks ago my aunt got my moms boyfriend to build her a huge deck.  I didn't really think it would look super great. But when I saw it, it looked awesome!

So I said something about wanting something smaller for the house. We got to talking about price for us one and found out it wouldn't cost all that much when you factor in we didn't have to pay any labor.  So Monday Pat (moms BF) called and got us a quote on wood, turns our there was some wood that fell off the truck so it was half price! So we jumped on it and here we are today.  Pat and Will spent a few hours this morning setting poles.  Tomorrow we will start to build the main part.

 Its going to be a 10x12 deck, we got the Thompson's® Water Seal w/ tint. If I don't like that we might stain it.

Margaret of course was a great helper. She took good naps and was a peace to just hangout outside.
